Local elections

The next elections we intend to fight are the 2017 Kent County Council elections. Would you like to be a Green Party candidate? Or are you able to help with our campaign and the crucial task of fundraising? Then please get in touch.

The difference that electing Greens can make

On Kent County Council, Green Party councillor Martin Whybrow is doing a fantastic job of holding the Conservative-run council to account, highlighting the threat of fracking and the erosion of public services. Our MEP for the South East of England, Keith Taylor, is our strong voice in the European Parliament. And of course Green MP Caroline Lucas has spent the last five years showing what can be achieved by electing a principled, hard-working Green to Parliament.

Candidates must be paid-up members of the Green Party and support its main aims and policies.
