The next round of UN climate talks are taking place in Paris in December, and to kick things off, Greenpeace and around 100 other organisations are organising a big climate march in London on Sunday November 29th.
The message to David Cameron - from members of the public as well as organisations including Avaaz and Cafod - will be that we want real action on Climate change in the UK and globally. Everyone is welcome!
There will be a group of local Green Party members travelling up by train from Faversham, meeting at 9:30am, before catching the 09:52 to London Victoria. If we can commit to travelling back in groups of at least 3 adults there are discounts available.
Those of you who have been before will know that it is a wonderful occasion, full of colour and noise and goodwill and, more importantly, a sense of purpose: to not allow our governments to destroy our planet.
We need the strongest possible outcomes from the Paris talks.
Dress up in silly costumes if you wish, bring your family, let's make a noise and show our elected representatives that we will not sit back and let our climate and our future be destroyed.
