The ongoing public consultation on the Swale Borough Council Local Plan is a vitally important opportunity for residents to have their say over the nature and location of development in our area. Swale Green Party believe it is essential that everyone is able to engage with, ask questions about and offer their opinions on this plan before it moves to the next stage.

We are inviting everyone to join this Open Meeting where some of the key points of the local plan will be presented by our two Swale Borough Councillors: Tim Valentine, previously Cabinet Member for Environment, and Alastair Gould, Deputy Cabinet Member for Planning. There will also be time for participants to discuss the plan in groups and to raise questions and views with the Councillors.
